Electronic Technician
We are currently recruiting for an Electronic Technician to join our Maintenance/Equipment Group. Experience with vacuum coating systems, high voltage power supplies, microwave systems and vacuum pumps required.
Other duties include but are not limited to:
Support for manufacturing and process engineering.
Assemble, adjust, repair and dismantle electrical and mechanical equipment according to layout plans and manuals.
Use test and diagnostic equipment to check performance; rebuild manufacturing equipment as required, perform equipment modification as directed by engineering.
Troubleshoot machines; fabricate/assemble electrical and mechanical assemblies for use in coating machines.
Provide documentation by producing sketches/schematics of assembled electrical components.
Take initiative to improve:
- Our processes (effectiveness and efficiency)
- Quality and reliability of electrical and mechanical assembled/fabricated parts and repairs
- Cost of building, maintaining and repairing of DSI/Customer equipment
- Performance of Equipment and Maintenance Team.
Associate’s Degree in electronics or equivalent from a 2-year college or technical school and a minimum of 5 years related experience or 5 –10 years related experience/training.
Position could be on a day, swing or mid-shift, therefore all applicants must be shift flexible and willing to work day, swing or mid-shift. No exceptions.

Coating Technician
We are looking for Coating Technician's to operate high vacuum coating chambers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: operate coating machines; requires a basic understanding of coating technology or the ability to learn while on the job, mechanical skills, trouble-shooting skills and the ability to follow precise instructions.
Process and inspect parts. Clean and load parts into coating chamber.
Coating machine maintenance: requires the ability to assemble and disassemble equipment, bead blasting, perform target changes through physical agility.
Must be able to analyze coatings (spectrophotometer)
The ability to obtain a security clearance is required.
This is a temp-to-hire position. Once temp-to-hire status is satisfied, we offer competitive salary and benefits.
